Our Team

Unihealth 24-Hr Clinic is being managed by Dr Daniel Soong. He has graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2011. Dr Soong hails with years of medical experience holding the degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Upon completion of his graduation, he has taken the opportunity of serving as a reputed health care professional across a number of hospital which includes Alexandra Hospital and Singapore General Hospital. The postings he served there are vivid and profound namely Internal Medicine, General Surgery and Orthopedics.
Dr Soong has challenged himself by garnering experience through working in the Accident and Emergency department. There he dealt with life threatening emergencies and acute care. Having niche experience in general practice and primary care, he is also capable of dealing with pediatric cases, women centric cases and also patients with geriatrics conditions. He believes in establishing an emergency clinic to cater to anyone in need of medical assistance. Delivering cost effective services for 24 hour emergency in Singapore and evidence based treatment for the patients is what will be ideal and affordable, suggests Dr Soong.
In medicine the vast area of interest for him includes minor surgery, acute medical care and management of skin condition. Dr Soong also has in depth interest in aesthetic dermatology notably the management of acne. Having done a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine from Aesthetic Medicine Academy in America, he is also accredited by the also attributed to give aesthetic treatment involving botox, fillers and chemical peels.
Dr Soong believes in establishing an emergency clinic to cater to anyone in need of medical assistance. Delivering cost effective and evidence based treatment for 24 hour emergency in Singapore and yet maintaining an affordable rate is what the clinic aspires. In order to aid good health to people, he insists in round the clock treatment all through the year. This he achieves by having the clinic open on all public holidays in Singapore.

Dr Xie Huizhuang graduated with the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and Baccalaureus in Arte Obstetricia (Bachelor of Obstetrics), MB BCh BAO (Hons) from National University of Ireland, University College Cork. She also holds a post graduate diploma in Obstetric and Gynaecology awarded by the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
On top of completing her medical degree with distinction, Dr Xie subsequently underwent her post- graduate residency training in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine under the Singhealth hospital clusters which includes Singapore’s largest tertiary hospital, Singapore General Hospital and major teaching hospitals such as KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Changi General Hospital. In addition, Dr Xie hails with years of valuable experience in both local and overseas medical institutes such as dealing with acute life and death critical conditions in major trauma centre at Cork University Hospital, Addenbrooke’s Hospital, University of Cambridge, new state-of-the-art maternity hospital at Cork University Maternity Hospital and South Infirmary Victory University Hospital to name a few.
During her years of training, Dr Xie has worked in multiple specialties and has special interest in performing minor surgeries and niche experience in the field of women’s health, general gynaecology issues and acute paediatric care. She strongly believes in evidence based medicine and has done extensive research work in surgical fields, having her work presented and won prizes at multiple international surgical conferences such as British Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Society. She was also invited as a key speaker to present her findings on Bariatric Surgery and Its Impact on Sleep at the Irish Sleep Society. She has published several research papers and continues to attend overseas conferences regularly to keep current on the latest medical developments.
Dr Xie is also fully certified and has attained accreditation and proficiency in aesthetic procedures including chemical peels, fillers, botox and lasers.
Dr Xie believes in a holistic, evidence based one stop primary healthcare for everyone. She works closely with corporate companies and individuals to provide the best premium healthcare to employees and their loved ones.
Also, Dr Xie contributes back to the medical field actively through education and enjoys imparting wealth of knowledge and experience to medical students understudying her over the years.

Dr Charlene Low graduated with the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from National University of Singapore. She also holds a post graduate diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology awarded by the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
She has worked in a multitude of government restructured hospitals in Singapore including Singapore General Hospital, Changi General Hospital and KK Women's and Children's Hospital. Over the years, she has gained a wealth of invaluable experience in a variety of specialties including Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine, Emergency Department, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Neonatology and Paediatrics. Dr Low is also fully accredited in aesthetic dermatology procedures including chemicals peels, fillers, skin tightening, botox and lasers.
She strongly believes in a holistic approach with each patient, and believes that good health is achievable only when there is a simultaneous focus on inner well being. With that in mind, she strives to establish excellent doctor-patient relationships with an emphasis on proper communication and education in order to help patients achieve their health and wellness goals.
As a mother to an infant herself, Dr Low empathises with the struggles young parents face when a child is sick and advocates strongly for family- centred care. Her special interests lie in Women's and Child Health.

Dr Zhu Guili obtained her Medicine Doctorate degree from Duke-NUS Medical School in 2014. She underwent medical training in Singapore General Hospital, Changi General Hospital and KK Women's & Children's Hospital with experience in pediatrics, internal medicine, surgery and orthopedics.
After laying solid foundations in the public hospitals, she underwent training in acute and chronic pain management as well as intensive care. Before embarking her journey in private practice, she has also worked in polyclinics looking after patients from neonates to geriatric patients. Her medical experience is further enhanced with her work in emergency departments looking after patients with urgent medical needs and including performing various surgical procedures.
"Treat your patients as if they were a family member." Dr Zhu firmly believes that patients' interest is of utmost priority and will always go an extra mile to maximize the medical care for them.
Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her children and often cites the quote from Titanic, "to make each day count!"

Dr Bob Yong graduated with MBBS from National University of Singapore. He has worked in multiple government restructured hospitals such as khoo teck phuat hospital, KK Womens and Childrens Hospital, National University Hospital, Singapore General Hospital and Institute of Mental Health.
His special interests include emergency medicine and psychiatry.
He is skilled in minor surgical procedures and aspires to make hospital-level care easily accessible to the public.
